The information technology & electronics mall is located in the middle of the ‘Dubai Silicon Oasis’ just a 20 min drive from town. It is a 120.000sm mix of Leisure, Shopping and Entertainment, expressing a modern and future-orientated lifestyle.

Developing and organizing the program we found the spaceship as an allegory for latest state of the art and future technologies. The Spaceship embodies the ideas and dreams of progress, connected to the rising of new technologies.

The interior is designed to create a self-sufficient space, dedicated to lifestyle – a padded oyster from outer space. In a club-like atmosphere the customer explores the different aspects and possibilities of future life. Through only three elliptical gateways the introverted space is connected to the everyday world.

The building’s skin is producing electricity through solar panels, protecting the interior and enabling communication through a LED façade. The iridescent skin is changing its appearance by glass panels with an integrated multicoloured foil.
